6-Year-old Hudson Hall got the trophy for catching the biggest fish for his age group at the big Annual Ammonoosuc Valley Fish and Game Club Fishing Derby last weekend held in New Hampshire. More than 50 kids, ages 13 and under, which included both boys and girls casted their lines into the chilly fast flowing river at the signal. The actual fishing part of event went for 2 hours. Hudson casted out, hooked it and reeled his fish in all by himself, bringing in a big beautiful Trout.
Hudson’s Dad and his Mom, Stephen and Elizabeth Hall along with his big brother Arthur , who is 8 years old and an excellent fisherman himself and his little brother Eustis, just 3 months old and a future great fisherman, were there along the river bank cheering him on. When the fishing part of the morning was over, the good people at the Ammonoosuc Valley Fish and Game Club provided the trophies and a delicious lunch to all the kids, their families and the spectators. Hudson was all smiles while receiving his trophy and was very proud of his accomplishments. And we’re all proud of him too.
