South Boston Catholic Academy concluded their school year with a closing Mass on June 14, 2018, in which the first graders did a terrific job as greeters, readers and bringing the gifts up to the altar. Our Pastor, Father Robert Casey was the celebrant and our Parochial Vicar, Father Tom Olson, was a concelebrant and our SBCA Children’s Choir provided the wonderful music.
We also had a celebration for Grade 6. We enjoy recognizing the accomplishments of our sixth graders who each have impressive school placements for the seventh grade. Many students will be flooding the halls of BLS, BLA, BC High, CM, Ursuline, Archbishop Williams and more. We wish all the Sixth Graders the very best!
The school closed, on Friday, June 15, 2018, with an Award Ceremony in the gym where students who embodied the school’s mission of “Faith, Family and Academic Excellence” were recognized. Thank you to all of the donors and families who made our Awards Ceremony possible. We also acknowledged and congratulated all our K2 students who will be Grade 1 students in September! We are so proud of our students and all of their accomplishments.
We wish all of our students, families, faculty and staff a joyful summer and look forward to seeing our favorite faces back here in the fall, as well as, welcoming new students and families to our growing school family.
