The 2018-19 co-ed volleyball league ended in April with the Hawkes Club taking the championship. The league is over 30 years old, because of the dedication and perseverance of our Program Supervisor, Kathy Davis. A “well done” to another fun and competitive season.

The Parks Department Golf Program for Youth & Adults ended this week at the BCYF Tynan. Each Wednesday night, 20 youth participated for an hour and 20 adults received their hour of instructions from 2 Pro golfers. The Fundamentals and techniques were covered including; Grip, set up, Alignment, and full swing. Our members are grateful to the parks Department for this very informative program.
Bruins/Celtics Parties have been taking place in our teen center for anyone who wants to drop by and watch the games on our 65-inch TV, thanks to the Council and the BCYF Foundation. Food and beverages have been afforded to our members thanks to the Tynan Council and the generosity of the Village Pizza and Grill on L & 3rd street in south Boston.
