The annual St. Patrick’s Day/Evacuation Day Boxing Show is scheduled this year for March 10th and will be held at Peter Welch’s Gym located at 371 Dorchester Ave in South Boston.
Boxing Show Tryouts: Tryouts for the annual Boxing Show are being held at Peter Welch’s Gym each week until the event itself, on Tuesday and Thursdays beginning at 7:30pm, on Saturdays at 1:00pm and on Sundays at Noon. All tryouts are free to every young man and young lady participating in this year’s show. All boxers will be matched by age, weight and experience and must report to Peter Welch’s Gym with shorts, mouth guard and sneakers.
