The final performance of the 2018 Dorchester Heights Summer Concert Series was held on August 25 and was a beautiful evening. With the sounds of young musicians floating in the night air, all were welcomed by the National Park Rangers – children of all ages, dogs of all breeds and families of all shapes, ages and sizes. The Heights was transformed into a fun-filled park with make and take art, lawn games, fabulous face painting, all the while meeting old friends and making new ones.
Publisher’s Note: Commanding General George Washington was trying to enjoy the concert but the annoying British General Sir William Howe looming off shore was making too much noise. So, he and General John Thomas decided to evacuate them.
