Get ready to start your Christmas shopping locally and celebrate the Holiday Season! On Thursday, November 29th take part in the South Boston Christmas Stroll! This free, fun-filled event starts at 4pm. Business establishments will be open until various times. Sip, Shop and Dine your way around South Boston and take advantage of special discounts and one-night only promotions at local shops and restaurants. Enjoy one night of incredible savings at more than 40 local retail establishments, restaurants and salons throughout South Boston. Splurge at participating businesses that will be displaying a Big Red Bow!
This year’s Christmas Stroll will include:
- The East Broadway tree lighting – taking place at 5:30 p.m. outside of the South Boston Library
- A visit from Santa (arriving on an antique Fire Truck) at 5:00p.m
- Feel free to take pictures with Santa inside of the South Boston Library
- Free hot chocolate & holiday treats will be served
- The Original Dickens Carolers will be strolling along East and West Broadway starting at 4:00pm
- Many discounts and special offerings from local retail establishments, restaurants, and salons throughout South Boston
- Magic show at 4:15pm – at Bringing up Baby (663 East Broadway)
- Free Pedi Cabs will be available to transport attendees along East and West Broadway from 6:00-8:00pm
