David Biele, a lifelong South Boston resident and local attorney running in the Democratic Primary for State Representative in the 4th Suffolk District has been endorsed by State Senator Nick Collins.
Just last week, Biele’s campaign earned the endorsements of former State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry and City Councilor Frank Baker. Biele has also been endorsed by the Greater Boston Labor Council and 15 Boston-based labor unions, including Fire Fighters Local 718, IBEW Local 103, Iron Workers Local 7, Laborers Local 223, and UNITE HERE Local 26.
Collins said, “Over the course of his career as an attorney and public servant, David Biele has demonstrated the qualities needed to be our next State Representative: knowledge of the issues, an ability to work with people to get things done, and a steadfast commitment to our community. I know David has what it takes to represent the people of South Boston and Dorchester with the kind of passion, work ethic and integrity it requires.”
Collins continued, “As State Representative, David will hit the ground running on Day One and ensure that our community’s voice is heard in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In David, we will have a fierce fighter for the interests of the people of 4th Suffolk District, so I ask you to join me in casting a vote for David Biele next Tuesday September 4th.”
Biele is a lifelong resident of South Boston where he has been deeply engaged with local community-based programs. He serves as a board member of the South Boston Boys & Girls Club and has spent many years mentoring local youth through the TEAM Mentoring Program at the Labouré Center, and the South Boston Special Kids & Young Adults program.
Biele was a longtime staffer to Nick Collins in his State Representative Office, working on policy, legislation, and constituent services. He is a graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston College, and Boston College Law School.
